The Men For A Cause™ Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon
The Three-Strand Rope
"Do you have a rope?" I asked, "I'm stuck." I had driven into the ditch. Fortunately, the motorist I stopped had a three-strand rope. Within minutes I was out of the ditch and driving again.
Why is a three-strand rope so strong? There’s the age-old dictum: "A three-strand rope is not easily broken." A three-strand rope is 10 to 15 times stronger than a single-strand rope. A double strand is only twice as strong.
The three strands work together when pressure is exerted on them. The more a rope is stretched, the more the three strands fuse together, creating more resilience. When you or someone you love has breast cancer and your rope is being stretched, let Men For A Cause™ be the third strand, giving you the added support and resources you need to stand strong in the fight against breast cancer.
MEN, WOMEN, MEN FOR A CAUSE, THE THREE-STRAND ROPE
The Men For A Cause™ pink and blue ribbon depicts the hand of a man and the hand of a woman interlaced in the shape of a ribbon, representing unity in the fight for a cure for breast cancer.
The pink ribbon denotes the magnitude of women affected by breast cancer, and is also the universal symbol for breast cancer awareness. The blue ribbon signifies the men affected by breast cancer as survivors or co-survivors.
Breast cancer is not a disease that should only be spoken of in October, or during a breast cancer walk…Our ribbon offers a gender unifying alternative is the first ribbon of its kind that allows men to show their “comfortably” show their support 365 days a year.
Men For A Cause unites EVERYONE in the fight for a cure.
