Ode To The Beauty Of Women
The earth in its beautiful, glorious splendor and its ever giving nature is often referred to as Mother, yet women and men alike, often fail to realize the significance, profoundness and very essence of Mother, more encompassingly referred to as Woman, the Mother of mankind… The totality of incredible beauty that women possess is beyond what any of us can see…
The beauty of a woman runs more deeply than even she can imagine, not unlike the molten lava burning deep beneath the earth’s crust that makes its way to the highest mountains and the deepest of seas often never to be appreciated even when it erupts from its very core.
A beauty that at times seems flawed to even her or to those who lack the depth, wisdom maturity, insight and untrained eye to see beauty for what it really is or where it really resides…
True beauty is not confined to a particular height, weight, color or creed, nor does it lay in ones face but it may at time be viewed from the windows of her soul. This beauty I speak of is not discovered in an operating room, nor can it be enhanced or hidden by cosmetics… The breath of this beauty knows no bounds…
Mother… Woman… We call upon you to embrace the beauty that does not lay upon your face. Nor is it reliant on your bosom or your derriere, over these fleshly things we do not care…
What we ask you is to unearth, all the beauty you have had since your birth. Find comfort in your skin and do not rely on the words or perceived thoughts of simple men. Even if breast cancer stares you in the face, do not lose your confidence and grace for you are beautiful no matter what challenge you face. Our love does not hinge on humps, we’ll love and support you through your lump.
Now, everyday hold your head up high and own the beauty that you possess. It doesn’t matter what anyone can see… Love you for you and I’ll love me for me and always remember….you are beautifully and wonderfully made.
